(Smart STM) I was happy to have found Markel Ins. I found myself without a job and without health insurance at tne
end of 2008. Markel was affordable for me at the time. While I was getting unemployment benefits it
filled that gap I was in; unemployed, and looking for a job at the tender age of "60" and not really ready

the best insurance for my 20 year old son. He hasent had to use it yet but knowing that he's covered

(Smart STM) My experience with customer service was quite remarkable! I had a question about automatic debit billing
from my checking account. A very friendly customer rep actually called me to answer the question! I had
dealt with one of your major competitors before finding your insurance company online and believe me I
came away from contact with them feeling like I was annoying them, rather than that I was a customer
wanting to purchase one of their products. I know your company must have hundreds of customers, but I
truly appreciated the personal touch of a friendly customer service rep calling me about my question. Also,
I use web sites constantly. Yours was quite easy to navigate. It easily allowed the comparison of policies
and prices. I spent a lot of time on the website before I made my selection, but when I did, I feel I got

(Simple STM) I need to read the 'fine print' of the contract SASID sent. I am concerned about exclusions and limitations
of the policy. Also, given this is simply a 'catastropic' policy I think the premium is too high. The likelihood of
exhausting the deductible, clearing the hurdles of the exclusions and limitations and triggering coverage is

coverage for the other things, should I need it. I think that, for the future, as just a comment, perhaps
a "personal" consultant or someone to talk to about health issues or using the policy would be nice, you
know--a nurse or something. But really, everything was great.

my plan. "Six months" is a misleading description of 6 x 30
days. It needs to be made even clearer that a "six-month" plan
is limited to 180 days (several days shorter than any series of
six actual calendar months). The information *was* in the
written plan description, but although I am generally a careful
reader, I missed the importance of the definition of a month as
30 days, and nearly waited too long to reapply for a second
"six-month" plan. Customer service *was* helpful in explaining

don't offer medical insurance until I get promoted to full time. I tried to continue my medical insurance with
my dad plan and pay the additional fees ($150 per month). They refused my application because I didn't
have a physical on file. I couldn't understand since I had been a member from birth to 18 years old and
since I turned 19 years old and didn't have a physical on file they refuse my application. Thank you very

paid for it b/c it wasn't worth anything. Luckily, I didn't pay anything for that card
specifically. I haven't actually used the insurance, as I only purchased it for catastrophe

more I appreciated the Fairmont Simple STM plan. So far I have had no problems whatsoever with any

original Koster policy (a university group plan) was kind, but unable to be very helpful with website
difficulties. I could not make the website accept any of my credit cards. Then I authorized a transfer from
bank account, but a week later could not see any evidence that it had posted. I called a customer service

(GTL Simple Term Life) The only thing I am not satified with is this; I setup for automatic draft on my bank account. GTL sent
drafting insturctions to my bank in which my bank informed me that the amount they are to draft for
states "ANY AMOUNT" from you company. Your accounting office needs to give my bank the exact set
amount, and then after the 15 year period when my monthly rate would change and if I keep this policy, I
realize the amount to draft each month will change.

(GTL Great Start Child Life) GTL has great prices - I'm looking into the term plans for
adults with the ROP rider. That's why I decided against buying
the Great Start plans for my grandchildren since I already have
insurance plans for them and prefer to wait till they're 18 to
buy a higher amount of term with ROP rider - so they can keep it
for themselves when they get out of college. I'll check back in
